“Fun, Inclusive, & Memorable”: Schools Get On Their Bikes with North Yorkshire Council!

Pupils enjoy all the fun of a Junior Cycle Try-Out
In September 2025 we had an amazing time partnering with Open North Yorkshire, part of North Yorkshire Council, for their first ever set of Schools Roadshow events. Over the course of 5 days, we supported over 1100 children to discover the joy of cycling! You can find out more about the positive impact of the roadshows in this article by Modeshift.
Modeshift is a not-for-profit membership organisation that champions sustainable travel all across the UK. They have highlighted our partnership with North Yorkshire Council to deliver the schools roadshows as an example of how inclusive active travel can be successfully integrated into schools. Pupils and staff enjoyed a memorable event that boosted confidence, and gave a hands-on experience of the joy of cycling. Read the article here.
